Prof. Andrew Taylor

Professor Andrew Taylor is a full-time a consultant cardiologist with the Heart Failure and Transplant Unit at The Alfred Hospital, as well as a visiting cardiologist at Cabrini Hospital. In 2002 A. Prof. Taylor carried out a year of post doctoral research in Berlin, Germany, in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging, and he heads both the CMR and cardiac CT angiography (CCTA) services at the Alfred Hospital. He also helped establish the CTCA service at Cabrini Hospital, where he continues to oversee patient scanning. Prof. Taylor has been an invited speaker in cardiac imaging at numerous local and international cardiology meetings, and he has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, including in the highest ranking cardiology journals Circulation and JACC.
