Dr Simon Steele

Dr Simon Steele was previously a Physiotherapist, having completed his degree at
the University of Sydney and working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He completed his post graduate medical degree at Flinders University in Adelaide, and subsequently basic physician training at Monash Health and The Alfred Hospital, before completing his advanced training in Cardiology at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, which also included a rotation to Royal Darwin Hospital. His training has also included a stint at St Thomas Hospital, London.  Simon then completed a fellowship in Heart Failure/Transplantation at The Alfred Hospital, and is currently undertaking a Pacing Fellowship and also will be undertaking the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examination for Certification as a Cardiac Device Specialist.

Simon currently shares his time between Cabrini, The Alfred Hospital and Latrobe
Regional Health and has a passion for treating advanced heart failure patients.
When not working he is enjoying looking after his newborn child.
